Introductory

Dear Parents and Students,

I would like to welcome you to the 2011-2012 school year! A new school year always brings a new opportunities for new learning and growth. This truely is the most exciting time of the year.

Before we begin the school year I would like to give you a summary of who I am as the students will be sending a great deal of time with me, and parents will want to know who it is that is spending time with your child. I was born in Maryland, but I moved around a lot at a young age. I have lived in Maryland, Pennsylvania, Ohio, Indiana, and North Carolina. I lived in North Carolina the longest; I attended elementary, middle, and high school there--as well as college.

I have traveled a lot of the course of my life, I have spent time at the Blackfeet Indian Reservation in Heart Butte, Montana, as well as sending time at a small community in Niagra Falls, Canada. I have traveled all over the United States, as well as to France and Italy. I truely believe that the best way to learn about others to exerience their way of life.

This is one of the reasons that I chose to become an English Language teacher. I am very passionate about the language that I speak and want to be able to share that with students.

I would like to make it clear that my door is always open. I hope that you will contact me with any questions you or your child have. I hope that this year will be a changing one as we begin to improve our language skills together.

Miss Wallace
